10. Homework Policy Monday through Thursday nights
Due the following day unless otherwise specified.
Calendars will be circled for missing assignments or being unprepared for class.

11. Reading
Encourage building stamina with books they can read with accuracy.
Students will set individual reading goals to work on and practice
Students will keep track of their reading
with a reading log

12. Reading Accelerated Reader:
Book finder located on the Whitman homepage
All students have a reading level based on AR and will be reading books on that level.
Please encourage students to read
on-level books at home!

13. Writing/Fundations
Students will receive a Fundations packet every Monday which is due on Friday
Students will be working on a Personal Narrative for the 1st Quarter
