Read Me – HPE OneView Readiness Assessment Tool 3.0
The HPE OneView Readiness Assessment Tool version 3.0 is intended to provide an assessment screening to pre-determine a customer’s readiness to move their HPE Blade Server and Virtual Connect environment under HPE OneView management. The tool performs the inspection non-disruptively and off-line utilizing VC Backup files and OA Show All Files provided by your customer. The HPE OneView Readiness Assessment Tool supports only VC Backup files or both VC Backup files and OA Show All files. The tool is for the HPE field and HPE Partners and customers when guidance is provided by the field. Passed Warning Critical Color Key Green items indicate a compatibility match Yellow items are warning items and won’t block a migration but may impact original settings Critical items are blockers and will prevent the migration to HPE OneView 3.0 Send questions and feedback to:

3.0 Features Update Added new pop up app notifications to provide targeted feedback to the user. For example the PowerShell exception polity if the user does not have the right permissions to use PowerShell on their device Improved the ease of adding and removing individual VC backups and OA Show All files and made it easier to view and verify the files uploaded for the assessment Added new tab structure to improve the management of the data within one Window Added Configuration Issues to the Global Summary page to provide a more view of the assessment Improved the ability to review enclosure summaries for large numbers of enclosure assessments on the enclosure summary page Included the enclosure summary graphics on the PDF report

Start Here HP OneView Readiness Assessment Tool 3.0 INSTRUCTIONS
Download the HPE OneView Readiness Assessment Tool zip file for the sales portal Save the HP OneView Readiness Assessment Tool zip file to your desktop and or a thumb drive Unzip the file on your desktop and or on a thumb drive Open the folder, click on the “OVRAT-Project.exe” file to launch the HP OneView Readiness Assessment Tool
