Our proposal An artist carries out his activity in 2 areas mainly:
• his work, which can be described as: - classical: new CD’s production and publicity campaign, live shows, videos, tv performances - innovative: new book’s writings, film’s direction, cultural activities and no profit sharings • his image - testimonial for commercials - his name and his image’s licensing and utilisation for commercials, both in terms of licensing and sponsorship

The artist’s image Please find herewith below some of the biggest business opportunities for the artist and his image: Licensing - his name, his image and his lyrics’s licensing for lot of objects such as t-shirts, cups, dishes… Sponsorship - his image and his music’s licensing for a new product advertisement or the re-launch of an existing article … and lot of other activities such as Panini little figures collection, gadgets, different lyrics utilizations, photos and event performances … both in Italy and outside of Italy

Some difficulties Over the last years people develop, or it’s better to say, people try to develop different activities working on the artist’s image but, after the initial enthusiasm, lot of difficulties come out day after day. Partner companies and artist’s minds are very different: The company, due to the large investment involved, doesn’t easily work on licensing and limitation, and they accept to discuss about all these matters only in the contractual phase. The artist, even if economical advantages are taken into consideration, runs lot of risks while giving his image for a product. How does production go? Which is the quality’s level? …he wants to keep situation under control ‘til the end…

An external intervention is the key
It’s very important to take into consideration an external intervention for such activities; in fact, this «world» can be very interesting potentially talking and for new business exploring, but it has to be developed day by day thanks to professionalities which cannot be contemplated in the music area. Why not direct contact? The artist or one of the companies involved has no interesting convenience in managing directly the contact because: this is not «core business»: this means that there are few resources to employ and a very little time to work on the project total absence of professional people, in the discograhy market, with specific know-how on this matter in order to correctly and largerly develop this area, people involved have not to work with a licensing agency only, but they imperatively have to enlarge their position, both in Italy and outside of Italy in the end, people involved have to work on every available sector, bearing in mind that every sector is very different from another one for rules and tasks.
