According to the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), on average: 6 min x 100 charts/day = 600 min or 10 hrs 10 hrs x $15/hr x 260 days/year = $39,000 How much of this could you save? According to a study by the Medical Group Management Association and others, show it takes on average 6 minutes to find, pull a chart, and then re-file it. Assuming a medical practice has 100 documents to be filed per day, the time expended is 100 x 6 minutes = 600 minutes or 10 hours per day. At a personnel cost of $15 per hour, that equates to $150 per day x 260 working days per year, equals $39,000 per year! Any practice could easily perform this analysis based on number of charts pulled daily and its hourly personnel expenses. A large healthcare facility, such as Memorial Sloan-Kettering Hospital reported to Canon that it saved $1.2 million per year by moving from paper to digital documents. As far as the client goes, the agent is available for a lot of different platforms. For those who are not familiar with our line of technology, 32 or 64 bit, it doesn’t matter to us. We allow that interoperability. You can print from a 32 bit workstation to a 64 bit print server without having to worry about drivers. We support all of the following.
