Write a powerful resume
your Calling card, advertisement, brochure, flyer….. Do I really need a resume? YES! Get your resume in the hands of as many hiring managers as possible. Do hiring managers read all of the resumes they receive? NO! They only read the ones that pass a ten second glance. What’s the 10 second glance? If it’s too long, too wordy, too cluttered, or has no sizzle – they toss it! What do you mean by sizzle? In business, sizzle is all about the accomplishments. Accomplishments show that you are the kind of person who can learn the job quickly and get things done. It says, “Hey boss, you should talk to this one.”

To get an interview! Write a better letter Three Paragraphs First Paragraph State the position you seek. If referred, state by whom. Include transition sentence that makes the reader want to read further. Second Paragraph State your skills (those the employer thinks are important) in terms of results (work, volunteer, school, activities etc.) Passion & Enthusiasm must stand out! Third Paragraph SIZZLE! State how you will contribute to the employers operation and REQUEST the interview. Purpose of Cover Letter Will AIDA hire you?
