Appointment Pool
Are you ready to take on a new challenge?
John Butler Primary College are seeking to establish a pool for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2017 school year. Placements can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2017 school year. 
To be successful for inclusion in this pool, applicants will need to be reflective practitioners who are guided by their impact on student learning. They will also be able to demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills and have an ability to build effective working relationships with students, parents, parents, staff and the wider college community.
Suitable applicants will be expected to support the implementation of the college business plan, to work and teach in a team environment, be committed to whole college approaches and initiatives and have a strong evidence based approach to teaching. The learning environment that you create is expected to be caring, differentiated, challenging and to cater for the needs which will see all students learning and progressing.
In response to Butler becoming one of the fastest growing suburbs in Western Australia, John Butler Primary College opened its doors at the commencement of the 2014 school year. John Butler Primary College is a “one school” model including both Education Support and Mainstream students within the college setting. As a fully inclusive college, John Butler Primary College has been designed to include top class facilities to support all students including those with extreme, high, moderate and low needs. The college is equipped to meet the needs of all students and includes a wireless ICT environment. Students’ learning is supported by tablet devices across the college. Our staff lead by example, constantly challenging themselves and their students to adapt to a world of continuous change and to become lifelong learners. We will ensure a clear identification of the attributes that make a visible difference to students' learning.
