3
1. AIM OF THE PROJECT To analyze the PU sole bonding with different uppers. To find the faults & remedy for better bonding. To find the strength and weakness of PU solings.
4
2. ABOUT PU & PU SOLINGS PU was first invented in the late 1930 in Germany. Formation of PU Raw materials >> Diols >> Diisocyanate >> Cross Linker >> Catalyst >>Blowing agents.

2.1.CHARACTERISTICS OF PU MATERIALS
Source:
6
Excellent flexibility. Excellent slip resistance.
2.2 PROPERTY OF PU Sole Light weight. Excellent flexibility. Excellent slip resistance. Oil resistant, safe & durable. Sole weight versus performance Source:

5.0 CONCLUSION According to the test: Recommendation
Buffalo L/R gives better bonding with PU Sole and PU adhesive PVC coated fabric do not perform well. Recommendation >> Scouring >>Primer using >> Correct adhesive selection >>proper drying >>Reactivation temp. & time >> attaching pressure. These will help for better bonding.
