Construction Administrator for the Oak Grove Park project in Miami, and the Emerald Estates Park project in Weston. 9 Understanding of Scope
Identify the limits of the conservation area on a tree mitigation site, Compiling the required documents and coordinate the recordation of the conservation easement, Design and oversee the improvements to the conservation area, Assist with bid preparation and implementation, Oversee and document the ongoing site improvements, and Conduct five years of compliance monitoring on the mitigation site. 10 Goals Provide seamless, efficient, effective service to the City;
Provide diligent oversight, documentation and follow-up; Provide ongoing clear, concise communication with the City, County, Airport representatives, the selected Contractor and other project partners; Meet all BCEPGMD permit conditions and requirements; and Create a viable, quality pine flatwood ecological community within the conservation area. 11 Overarching Project Approach
Meet with the City to confirm the specific project requirements, timeline, coordinating partners, chain of contact, deliverables, and elements the City may provide. Discuss anticipated or potential project challenges, such as tree relocation, concurrent construction on the site, or imperiled species relocation. Establish staffing needs, sequencing of work including concurrent tasks, and a progress schedule. Continually review the project progress and budget, maintain close communication with each team member and any coordinating partner.

12 Step by Step Project Approach
Conduct a thorough field inspection Create, or review, the tree survey If applicable, provide calculations for required tree mitigation Delineate highest quality habitat area for inclusion in conservation area Coordinate with City & County on acceptance of delineated area Coordinate with the Surveyor to create a sketch and legal description for the conservation easement with certification of the easement acreage Coordinate with the County on compiling needed conservation easement documents and signatures, and facility review and recordation process

13 Step by Step Project Approach
Within the conservation area create the construction plans, Provide plans to City and County for review and acceptance, Participate and assist in Bid process, Attend the pre-construction meeting, obtain Contractor contact information, Throughout construction provide oversight, field reports, and review of contractor pay application requests, Inform the contractor and City of any issues that may arise, At substantial completion provide a punch list of final needed items, Coordinate with contractor on completion of punch list item, and Upon successful completion, notify City and confirm acceptance of work.

14 Step by Step Project Approach
Notify the County of completion of work, and complete and submit the Time Zero Monitoring report; Upon acceptance of the Time Zero report begin quarterly monitoring; Throughout the monitoring period report quarterly observations to the maintenance contractor identify treatment areas and problems; Upon submittal of the final monitoring report, coordinate with the County to gain sign-off of the final site condition and closeout of monitoring requirements; and Coordinate the release of any financial assurance mechanism the County may have held to final completion.
