We grow like seeds. We all start somewhere, how will you grow into the person you want to be?

The Parable of the Growing Seed
He also said, “This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. All by itself the soil produces grain—first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.” The Parable of the Mustard Seed Again he said, “What shall we say the kingdom of God is like, or what parable shall we use to describe it? It is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest of all seeds on earth. Yet when planted, it grows and becomes the largest of all garden plants, with such big branches that the birds can perch in its shade.” With many similar parables Jesus spoke the word to them, as much as they could understand. He did not say anything to them without using a parable. But when he was alone with his own disciples, he explained everything Mark 4: 26-34

Like the mustard seed, we can grow into big things
Like the mustard seed, we can grow into big things. But it doesn’t happen over night and it doesn’t happen with out nurturing and harvesting your dream goals. Watch me!

With the help of God, you will get it!
Are you hungry for it? With the help of God, you will get it! Every day is day one!
5
Class discussion: Agree or disagree: It's better to set lower goals than to risk failure by setting higher ones.
6
Personal reflection: If you could become anything you wanted, or accomplish anything you wanted in life, what would it be? What can you be doing right now to make that happen? Are you doing it? (If not, why not?)

Lord, Watch over all my plans and all that I say and do in my dealings with others. Show me how to give of my best and not to avoid hard work but gladly fulfil all the duties and responsibilities of life in a gracious and loving way. Amen
