What is RTI (Response to Intervention)?
A framework for making instructional decisions based on data, in order to accelerate learning for all students.
3
So What?
4
I Get It! Now Where Do I Start?
Let’s look at your data...
5
Istation Istation Reports
If you service the student for reading, you will want to look at the student’s Istation reports. Look at the Student Summary Report Look at the Skill Growth Report
6
Isteep Isteep Reports If you service the student for reading, you will need to look at the student’s Isteep reading graph. This graph displays how well a student is progressing in regards to fluency.
7
Moby Max If you service the student for math, you will need to look at the student’s Moby Max reports. Look at the Snapshot/Dashboard Report Look at the Progress Detailed History Report Look for the skills that the student is struggling with (missing skills)
8
Isteep Isteep Reports If you service the student for math, you will need to look at the student’s Isteep math graph.
9
What Does All Of This Data Mean?
Your purpose in analyzing classroom data is to determine what your students have learned, what they need help to learn and how you need to plan instruction to ensure that they all do learn. This means…. Closely looking at data so that you know what students are struggling with This will allow you to know where to start and how to plan for instruction In addition, looking at data FREQUENTLY allows you to see how students are progressing or if they are still struggling so that you can modify or adjust accordingly.
10
I Have Analyzed My Data. . . Now What?
The fun part…you plan!
11
What Should My Plan Consist Of?
You want to know what students are going to be at your teacher table. Get your Intervention Logs ready.
