3 Sabesp TIETÊ PROJECT Sabesp accounted for 37% of the sanitation investments made by brazilian state companies, from 2011 to 2014. The Tietê Project is the largest environmental Program in Brazil. In 1992, when the project was implemented, 70% of sewage was collected, and 24% was treated and the pollution reached an extension of 530 km (50% of the length of the river). In 2015 – the sewage collection was 84% , the sewage treatment was 68% and the pollution reduced to a km.

8 WTE BARUERI THE PROJECT
PROVISION OF ENVIRONMENTALLY SOUND FINAL DISPOSAL SERVICES FOR WASTE GENERATED IN THE PROCESSES EMPLOYED IN SEWAGE TREATMENT, PRECEDED BY THE EXPLOITATION OF ENERGY POTENTIAL THROUGH THE USE OF BIOGAS AND SLUDGE FROM THE FACILITIES OF ETE BARUERI.

ABC NOVO MUNDO SÃO MIGUEL SUZANO SISTEMAS ISOLADOS The generated amount of sewage sludge grows in proportion to the increase in the sewage collection and treatment services, which, in turn, should accompany the population growth.

12 WTE BARUERI Idea - SUSTAINABLE SEWAGE SLUDGE. BIOGAS and SLUDGE are proprietary assets. GRANTING OF THE RIGHT TO EXPLOIT THE USE OF ENERGY POTENTIAL.

14 Solution WTE BARUERI CONTRACT SCOPE SLUDGE / BIOGAS EPBL ELECTRICITY
WASTE DULY TREATED FOR FINAL DISPOSAL ELECTRICITY

15 WTE BARUERI Required Scope Thermal drying of 500 tons / day of SLUDGE to convert them into DRY SLUDGE ELECTRICITY Production from Biogas processing obeying the following assumptions. Maintaining the temperature of the raw sludge stored within the currently existing digesters in the range of 35 °C to 37 °C by suppling thermal energy. Treat and allocate an environmentally appropriate way to all waste generated in the processes in place.

16 WTE BARUERI Obligations of Sabesp:: Digested Sludge supply ; quantity and quality. Biogas Delivery to the specified quality and in the following amounts: Up to 50,000 Nm3 / day from 1st to 5th year. Up to 100,000 Nm3 / day from the 6th year.
