INTRODUCTION Now you are actually talking about what you are proposing. be sure that this follows naturally from the Introduction in which you should have set up and highlighted some critical issue that needs to be resolved. tell the reader how you would resolve this issue.
4
PURPOSE This section will provides a written description of the specific actions, plan, or strategy you will take to answer your research questions.
5
METHODOLOGY HOW YOU INVESTIGATE THE QUESTION? WHAT WILL YOU DO?
HOW YOU WILL DO IT?
6
CONTENTS This section should describe the proposed method for the experiment, including Research Framework (Overall Research Work) List of Equipments and Materials (that will be used) Procedure (that will be followed)
7
RESEARCH FRAMEWORK/FLOW CHART
Overall view of steps/flow in your research Use mind map Must have continuous flow

10
Equipment and materials
In this subsection of the method section you describe any equipment and materials/chemicals in your research study. The following information should be included: General description of the apparatus or instruments. Reference indicating where equiments can be obtained.
11
Material Brand 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl Sigma, Malaysia Ethanol Merck, Malaysia Ethyl acetate Acetone Equipment Location Beaker School of Bioprocess, UniMAP Test tube Incubator Grinder UV-VIS Spectrophotometer
12
PROCEDURE In this subsection of the methodology section of your proposal, you carefully describe how your study will be executed. The following information should be included in the procedure section: A description of the design if it was not previously described. A detailed step-by-step description of how the study will be executed.
13
PROCEDURE list down all scopes with details description
-material/sample preparation, design work, simulation/modelling work, development or fabrication work, characterization and optimization -should specify the variables/parameters (independent and dependent) that will be used in the experiment with the min and max range that will be run by DOE -Determine how many of replicate / control
14
5.3 Procedure Plant collection and sample preparation The plant of Stachytarpheta indica will be collected from Kampung Wang Tepus, Jitra, Kedah. The whole plant collected will be washed thoroughly under running tap water to remove the dust and soil. Then, the plant will undergo drying process by using oven at 50°C overnight Plant extraction process Explain in detail the process Antibacterial assay Phytochemical analysis

WHAT DO YOU EXPECT TO FIND?
EXPECTED RESULT WHAT DO YOU EXPECT TO FIND? Based on the present researches, the zone of inhibition obtained in the disc diffusion test should be more than 14mm to shown the plant extract has the ability to inhibit the bacteria growth. The MIC obtained should be less than 1000ug/ml in order for the plant extract to possess antibacterial activities. The plant extract should give a stronger antibacterial effect to gram-positive bacteria than gram-negative bacteria.
