2. What was done since the Amman EGM
Strengthening the coordination among organisations working on land in the region;
Launch of a web platform for knowledge sharing and capacity development arabstates.gltn.net
Identification of a dedicated Arabic-speaking support person to support the work, located in the GLTN Secretariat;
Resource mobilisation and support mobilisation efforts being done;
A regional capacity development event on tools for land governance is planned for April in Beirut, Lebanon;
An Expert Group Meeting on gender-responsive land governance is being planned for May in Cairo, Egypt;
The round table "Towards a regional cooperation on land governance for promoting peace, stability and development in the Arab States" is a milestone in the regional cooperation process.
