Child Abduction Information Tracker (CAIT)
Task Create a tool for collecting and organizing information gathered through the course of a child abduction investigation. Purpose Provide Child Abduction Response Personnel the ability to rapidly and efficiently collect, organize, disseminate, and share case information (Leads, Notes, Direction, etc.)

CAIT – System Requirements / Pre-Construction Considerations
Security Information Control (who can view what) Easily Searched (think reports) Easily Printed, Saved, and Distributed Electronically or on Paper Process Compliant Lead assignments to Investigators Call Center input of data

CAIT Case List Viewlinks allow the user to create new cases, view information made available by other departments, and recover archived cases. Expanded Search and Sort capability facilitates rapid retrieval of records Thumbnail pictures provide easy recognition of case entries Basic Case Information is displayed in a manner that allows for quick referencing and location of cases Lead Investigator’s List Display allows full access to case data as well as the ability to edit and assign cases

CAIT Case Details All displays allow for the creation of a printable/savable PDF Multiple fields available for attaching additional pictures or files Search Field highlights key words and names across the entire Display Checklists for First Responder through Lead Investigator linked to the case Single-page format keeps all information within reach. Collapsible divisions keep expanding information fields manageable. Access to details and the ability to edit/add data is contained within respective divisions.

CAIT – Lead Details Example
Case Details follow all Displays linked to a case for easy tracking and management Where applicable, fields for saving photos and other attachments are provided along with the lead’s detailed information.

Reporting and System-Wide Searches
Series of Filters and Search Fields work in conjunction to narrow down entries - This Display provides a list of all active entries made into the system across all cases
