6. A few highlights…
After School Movies – 11 sessions offered for the kids raising almost $3,600!
Art Docent Program – More than 50 volunteers delivering monthly art lessons.
Library Support – Gift a Book and the Scholastic Book Fair raised over $9,000 in funds for our Library.
Box Tops - $2,000 worth of Box Tops collected
Cultural Club – Nineteen weeks of weekly recess activities, crafts & games from countries all over the world.
Science Fair – Over 200 student projects and 600 attendees!
Fall-O-Ween – October all-school festival featuring costumes, games, prizes and other Fall fun!
Orange Ruler– First event netted over $50,000 for programs and enrichment (more than three times previous fall fundraisers) providing funding for grade-level enrichment, teacher stipends, recess programs, classroom iPads and more!
Auction – Third biennial auction raised over $75,000 including $20,000 for a new laptop cart.
Grizzly Patch Garden – Fall/Spring Thursday recess activities.
Parent Education – 3 great sessions on digital safety, girl friendship issues & emotional competence
Reflections – 34 student art entries, 5 District finalists, 3 state-level award winners.
Summerfest – End of year celebration for the entire school.
Staff Appreciation – Monthly and annual events showing our support for over 70 staff members
Organization of & Volunteers for: People Movers, Lunch Helpers, Picture Days, Vision & Hearing, Kinder Registration, Bear Hunt, Room Parents… and so much more!

Grizzly Patch – is in bloom! Fun activities every Thursday at 2nd recess. Check it out at Summerfest!
Art Docent – June lessons happening now! Watch for that final project to come home in the next week
Reflections Theme will be ‘What is Your Story?’ Check out IssaquahPTSA.org for more information.
Grizzly Guys – are looking for some new dads who’d like to get involved at school. Contact Anh Leith or PTSA Programs via our website to find out more.

Emergency Prep – team did an amazing job restocking kits and adding additional equipment for power outages
Staff Appreciation – Efforts were soooo appreciated by teachers and staff
Parent Ed – Two great talks this spring on girl friendships & Understanding Emotions
Tools for Schools – Supply drive going on now. Look for bins to make donations and register at isfdn.org if your child will need supplies in the fall
