4. When Does Cross Country Meet?
Practice from 3:45 – 5:30 (ish)
Meets from 3 – 6 PM on Fridays, in the mornings on Saturdays (typically done by 11 AM)
Expectations:
85% of practices AND meets
This means if you miss 6 practices OR 2 meets, you will no longer be part of the team
If you already know that you cannot make this team commitment, talk to your coach immediately (but this cross country season is probably not going to work this year…)

5. Upcoming Events Pasta Parties Time Trials End of Year Banquets
Usually Thursday before the meet in West Cafe
First party is on August 31st
All athletes are encouraged to attend, regardless of which race they are running.

Boys race at 7:30, girls at 8:00 (GET THERE EARLY!!)
Wear old uniform or RED shirt
Fundraiser for Food Bank of the Rockies (but they don’t want food)

7. Uniforms Uniform Policy
If your athlete has not previously purchased a uniform (freshman or new to the team) they will need to purchase a uniform for $80
If they only need a new top/bottom, this is $40
Uniforms are not in yet, so we will deal with this next week
If money is an issue, please talk to a coach and we can work something out
Athletes CANNOT COMPETE in anything but this uniform

We will take charter buses to some meets, especially ones that have early freshman/sophomore divisions

Invitationals: $700 - $1400
T-shirts, coaches’ shirts, scholarship uniforms, cups, coolers, and other expenses: $1200
End of Season Recognitions: $2000

Cherry Creek High School Spirit Night
WHEN: Thursday, September 1st at 5 PM until the start of the football game (against Regis, at 7 PM)
WHAT: Food Trucks!, DJ, Marching Band, Cheers & Poms, games, and more!
WHERE: Courtyard outside of the pool
WHO: Open to entire CCHS community.
Come support your Bruins with Varsity athletes from all Fall sports and the CCHS student body
as we get ready to kick off !!!
