Legend:
Linear regression lines for mean words on the Language Development Survey (Rescorla, 1989) are shown for each of four age-at-adoption cohorts. Non-Adopted figures are normative data derived from group mean score data in Rescorla and Achenbach (2002). Regression formulas are: Rescorla & Achenbach, 2002: y = x–32), (0–12 months: y = x–66.802), (13–18 months: y = x ), (19–24 months: y = x–421.6), (25–30 months: y = x–447.56). Means, ranges, and standard deviations for the data are presented in Tables 2–5.
