Who are the Parents Association
Voluntary parent committee Anyone can join, no electing committee members Key Roles - Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Minutes Secretary 26 members / 16 attending meetings All parents have the opportunity to contribute

What do the Parents Association Do?
Plan, co-ordinate and manage a calendar of fundraising and social events Manage the school photo's process Work closely with the school Represent the parent body

Our Aims Bring together children, parents, staff and the wider community Enhance the school experience of our children by providing fun, sociable activities Support the school and its staff Varied calendar of events to suit all Utilise parents skill sets Support parent led initiatives Raise money to provide our children with fantastic opportunities

Our Ethos Do whatever you can when you can
Participation should be fun, sociable and rewarding Teamwork and communication are the key to our success Events should be accessible to all – Cost of the School Day Active lines of communication – Facebook, , flyers, face-to-face

Great way to become part of the school community Fun, sociable, and rewarding Learn new skills We always welcome new energy, new faces and new ideas Support our children and the school

Over the past year, we have...
Given the school over £12,000 on your behalf Subsidised school trips, STEM workshops, author visits, purchased iPad's, and much more Introduced movie nights for the kids Hosted a Family Ceilidh, which was a hoot! Setup a uniform swap shop Introduced tuck bags for lower school disco's

Treasurer’s Report 2015-16 Books are annually audited in July/Aug
Accounts are always presented at each PA meeting – need for transparency We collectively agree as a committee how much to pass onto the school / what to fundraise for/school utilises the money where they need it
