1 The Nature of God Numbers 23:19

2 Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

3 God is not a man, that he should lie.”
God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.“ John 4:24 Spirit – A being without physical form possessed of the power of knowing, desiring, deciding, and acting.

4 God is not a man, that he should lie.”
You thought I was altogether like you…” (Ps 50:21b)

5 God is not a man, that he should lie.”
in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began, - Titus 1:2 “impossible for God to lie.” - Hebrews 6:18

6 God is not a man, that he should lie.”
Therefore, when God today says: a. If we sin willfully there remains no more sacrifice, it is the truth (Heb 10:25-26) b. The same with worship (Jn 4:24) c. The same with being baptized (Mk 16:16) d. The same about improper conduct (Rom 1:28- 32)

7 “Or a son of man, that he should repent”
God is not like men, who do wrong things and then need to repent. Who committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in His mouth"; - 1 Pt 2:22

8 “Or a son of man, that he should repent”
And they made His grave with the wicked —But with the rich at His death, Because He had done no violence, Nor was any deceit in His mouth. Isaiah 53:9

9 “Has he said, and shall he not do it?” (He always keeps His word.)
And Moses said to Aaron, "This is what the Lord spoke, saying: 'By those who come near Me I must be regarded as holy; And before all the peopleI must be glorified. '" So Aaron held his peace. Leviticus 10:3

10 “Has he said, and shall he not do it?” (He always keeps His word.)
But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.“ Revelation 21:8

11 Or has he spoken, and shall he not make it good (fulfill it)
Or has he spoken, and shall he not make it good (fulfill it)?” (He always keeps his promises) Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath, 18 that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us. Hebrews 6:17-18

12 Conclusion Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; And His greatness is unsearchable. Psalm 145:3

13 Conclusion Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!34 " For who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has become His counselor?"35 " Or who has first given to Him And it shall be repaid to him?"36 For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen. Romans 11:33-36
