4. Senior English is designed to help seniors prepare for college and/or career by doing the following:
Increase skills in reading comprehension, writing, speaking and listening.
 Promote and develop self-awareness.
Clarify thoughts and work through emotions.
Develop sophisticated language and communication skills.
Empower students.

5. Grading Scale 100—90 = A 89—80 = B 79—70 = C 69—60 = D
Odds and Ends to know
Supplies you will need…
A three ring binder with a few dividers.
A writing book (a 70 page note book will work).
Colored pencils (for coloring).
Pens and pencils.
1 or 2 highlighters.
There will be
Writing, Classwork, Projects, Quizzes,
Homework and a Final Exam.
