2. Traditions:
There are a lot of traditions of Christmas in Hungary like:
Make a very big dinner before Christmas with tipical dishes and foods like stuffed cabbage, fish soup, beigli with walnut and lot of more food.

3. Advent wreath
In the 30th day of November we have to fire on a candle in all of the days until Christmas because that means looking forward the birth of Jesus Christ and we think it’s very beautiful

4. Luca`s wooden chair
It’s about a chair made of 9 types of wood in 13 days and it’s celebrated on the 13rd day of December.The story tells that if you
sit on the chair you will see the witches and after that you have to burn the chair and if you do it well you will hear the crying of the witch.

5. Bethlehemezés/Nativity Play
Presenting the story of Jesus` birth that is from an ecclesiastical derrived folk game.The actors are usually dressed as shepherds with homemade”jászollal” they go from houses to houses with saint songs or comic dialogues evoke the events of Jesus’ birth.

6. The Shepherd Walking
The Shepherd walking people walked until the midnight of Christmas and they went to houses.They were wearing inside out fur, they put a haversack in their shoulder and with a crook held in their hands.A shepherd was wearing the nativity flag in his hand.
