18 I am Artemis. I am goddess of the hunt and moon. My symbols are: the moon, bow and arrows, and the stag (deer).

19 I am Hephaestus. I am the blacksmith of the gods and the only lame god. My symbols are: the anvil, forge, and fire.

20 I am Aphrodite. I am goddess of love and beauty. My symbols are: the seashell, doves, hearts, and flowers.

21 I am Ares. I am god of war. My symbols are: the spear, and a helmet and shield.

22 I am Athena. I am goddess of wisdom, justice, and arts/crafts. My symbols are: the owl and the aegis (like a shield).

23 I am Apollo. I am god of music (principally the lyre) and also of prophecy, colonization, medicine, archery (but not for war or hunting), poetry, dance, intellectual inquiry and the protector of herds and flocks. I am also a god of light. My symbols are: light, bow and arrow, lyre, sun

24 I am mostly known for being the messenger of the gods.
I am Hermes. I am mostly known for being the messenger of the gods. However, I am the god of shepherds, land travel, merchants, weights and measures, oratory, literature, athletics and thieves, and known for my cunning and shrewd behavior. My symbols are: Winged hat and sandals, and the staff (cadeceus).

25 I am Hades. I am the ruler of the underworld and god of the dead. My symbols are the scepter, Cerberus (3 headed dog), and my crown (that can make me invisible).

26 I am Zeus. I am king of the gods; therefore ruling both man and gods. My symbols are: lightning bolt, eagle, scepter, rain/thunderstorms

27 I am a Cyclops. I am of the second generation of Cyclops and belong to a band of lawless shepherds.

28 3-2-1 Exit Slip On a blank sheet of paper (you can split a piece with a partner), respond to the following: Identify 3 gods/monsters and their functions. Identify 2 things you learned about the Trojan War. Make 1 prediction for the story, The Odyssey.
