Creating a conducive working environment Increasing the number of women at the decision making level Compiling gender disaggregated data Encouraging private sectors to provide wider opportunities for women to be at the management and professional levels B40 M40 T20

8 CHILD CARE CENTRES AT THE WORK PLACE
GOVERNMENT SUPPORT A grant of RM200,000 to any Ministries and agencies to establish child care centre at the work place SUBSIDY Subsidy of RM180 for childcare fees to parents with the total monthly income of RM5,000 (Previously - RM3,000) Subsidy given based on per capita income, which is for metropolitan area RM500 and below, urban area is RM400 and below and for rural area is RM300 and below as a support system to career women strategy to increase women participation in the labour force TAX EXEMPTION INCENTIVES (since 1994) 10 years tax exemption for private sectors on the expenses of building or purchasing premises to open up day care centres

CAREER COMEBACK Incentive to Employers: Resourcing Grant (2015) companies that have implemented or enhanced a recruitment program targeted at women returnees, and the grant will be used to co-fund 75% of the recruitment costs incurred 2) Retaining Grant (2015) companies that have successfully hired and retained women returnees for more than six months, with a grant equivalent to one month of the returnees' salary. 3) Bajet tax incentives provided to employers who provide training for women to return to work Provide career guidance and support for finding ideal re-entry roles M40 Offers professionals an opportunity to relaunch their career after a career hiatus Career comeback fair and campaign
