8 Degree Progress You must complete the minimum credits listed on your degree plan each semester of your four semester plan with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher. Failure to make satisfactory progress will result in being placed on probation and may result in dismissal from the program.

9 Course Change Process Course Change and Pass Fail Requests can be accessed through your Student Center in My UW Madison ( by clicking on the ‘Course Change Request’ link via Course Enrollment, Term Information sub tab You must SAVE your request and PRINT the request. If you are saving more than one request, each request will need to be printed separately. Once appropriate signatures have been obtained, you will need to submit the ‘Course Change Request’ to 217 Bascom Hall Graduate School. Online Course Change Requests are used to request a change to a course after the deadline has passed for the following activities. Instructor, Department and/or Dean approval is required for the request to be processed. Add a Class/ Drop a Class Online Course Change Requests are also used to request the following activities: Add/Remove Audit Add/Cancel Pass Fail

11 Pass Fail Option To pass a course, you must earn a grade of C or better. This is typically recommended for PE elect courses. Courses utilized for degree credit may not be carried on a P/F basis. Once you select to carry a course on a P/F basis you may not change the course back to a graded status. Consult the Office of the registrar home page for deadlines. Note, that the instructor is not aware you are carrying a class on a P/F basis. You may select this option via the student center after you’ve web enrolled for the course via the online course change option

12 Audit a Class You may only audit courses with instructor approval and courses that are not going to be utilized toward degree credit requirements. Audit is considered a passive observer. You may not take exams, write papers or receive any graded materials. You may not be assigned to a team. Please consult your faculty advisor prior to auditing a course. (Submit your completed form to 217 Bascom)

14 1st week of Fall Semester
There are no classes on Monday, September 4, it is a holiday, Labor Day or Tuesday, September 5. Wednesday, September 6 is the 1st day of the fall semester. On Wednesday 9/6, you will only have the following classes: MHR 706, Leading and Working in Teams from 8:00am-10:30am in the Plenary Room, and your career specialization required course, if it meets on that day On Thursday, 9/7 you will follow your regular course schedule for core courses and career specialization courses. On Tuesday, 10/17 MHR 706 will meet from 8:00am-10:30am in the Plenary Room.

18 MBA Computer Lab User Name: Net ID User Password: Net ID password Each student will be given $70 in quota per semester.  Each page costs $0.07. This translates into 1000 pages. The quota is in place to have you evaluate what you absolutely need to print versus what you can read electronically. If you run out of quota during the semester, you must add money to your WiscCard Account. Then you will be able to release your print jobs using your WiscCard balance. PLEASE NOTE: COLOR PRINTING IS $0.60/Page. If you print a large document in all color you will go through your quota very quickly. It is recommended that you print only the pages in which color is needed and then print the rest to a B&W printer to conserve your quota. The color printer is located in room 1266. Computer or printer problems in the lab should be directed Personal laptop issues should be directed to the DoIT Helpdesk

19 Wellness Room The Wellness room is located within the MBA Program Office, 2450 Grainger Hall. The room includes a recliner and private restroom. It is available for mothers who are nursing or if you are not feeling well and need a private space to lie down.

20 Sexual Violence Prevention Program
Our campus requires you to complete an online prevention education program, "Preventing Sexual Violence at UW-Madison (Fall 2017)." This program takes approximately 45 minutes to complete. It will equip you with tools to contribute to a safe and respectful campus, and information about how to access support for yourself or others. All incoming graduate students are expected to complete this training. The deadline for completion is October 13, An enrollment hold will be placed on your Spring 2018 registration if you do not complete this training by the deadline. Access the Program To access the program, log on to and click the link for “Preventing Sexual Violence at UW-Madison (Fall 2017)” in the course dashboard.
