Stay with current reporting timing: 3rd quarter for suppliers to collect CM information from their supply chain 4th quarter for OEMs to collect CM information from their suppliers 1st quarter of following year to submit updates See timing chart on next slide Assign a person within your organization as main contact for suppliers, even when working with a third party, for collection of CM information, to ask questions, or resolve disputes Use caution when editing smelter lists. Important actions can be missed if requesting only specific types of smelters be listed (i.e. only compliant smelters, smelters who do not source from the CC, etc.): Outreach for non-compliant smelters Research on companies to determine if they are legitimate smelters/refiners.
