3. Introduction:
There are a lot of teenagers who experience illegal drugs. This problem has dangers and harmful effects on people’s health and attitudes. According to that it is important to increase the people’s knowledge about this effect and make them understand the suitable way to prevent the occurring of this problem. The objective of this paper is to explain the negative effects of illegal drugs and some ways to protect as well as to prevent this harmful habit from occurring.

4. Definition of illegal drug addiction:
Addiction means that when the person start to use drugs in continuously that can affect the body and make it depend on these drugs (Segre, 2000).

5. At this time the drugs will control the person's body and thought
At this time the drugs will control the person's body and thought. That means that people who are addicted to illegal drugs can act in an unacceptable manner until they receive the drugs.

6. Effects of illegal drugs:
The addicted person has the ability to become desperate to do anything to have drugs. They are capable to sell everything that they have and steal from others or from their families to have the money to buy drugs. In addition it will affect the social life it will make the addicted person become isolated from others and feeling depressed.

7. Ways to prevent this problem:
To prevent this harmful problem we need to educate the people. That will be by going to the schools and do some classes on the harmful effects of illegal drugs on people especially the children and the teenagers. Plus, increase the student knowledge to be aware to not become one of the drug users. Furthermore, the government should make a strict observation on the drugs and do some program that help the people to quit in confidential ways to save their dignity.

9. Summary:
. Finally, using illegal drugs considers as dangerous issue and it affects our society in negative ways. According to that we need to do our best in order to prevent this problem to protect ourselves, our family and our society from harm.
