We have been talking about archaeologists and what they study. We know that they study what people left behind. What are the items that people leave behind known as? (See page 10 )
Answer: The items left behind that archaeologist study are called artifacts.
Artifact– objects created and used by humans

Primary source– an account of an event based on a person that was there
Secondary Source– an account of a person who was not there to take part in or witness an event

Sylenna, Melissa, Kalvin, and George were all on the playground. Sylenna and Melissa were on the swings away from Kalvin and George when they heard a scream. As the girls turned they see George on the ground holding his arm. The girls run to the teacher and tell that George is hurt.
