Your child has written you a letter with a task to complete! You may write a response on the pink paper before you leave this evening. I know your child will enjoy reading it!

All About Me Fifth year in RTM: 2nd year teaching 3rd grade
B.S. in Elementary Education from Virginia Tech Masters of Instruction, University of Delaware Nine years of teaching experience in Maryland and Delaware (4th Grade) Certified in Elementary Education (K-6), Middle School Language Arts (7-9) and Middle School Math (7-9) Wife, and mother to Nicholas (22), Claudia (17), and Luca (13)

My Goals To provide a safe, supportive, and positive classroom environment with authentic, engaging learning experiences that help each child reach his or her potential. To help students as they learn about themselves, grow in their academic abilities, build their self-esteem, and take an active role in their own learning.

Homework Daily (M-Th) Reading for 20 minutes – often with Post-its or journal Tools for Success math fact practice – 5 min. a day Math Student Activity pg. – 10 minutes; limited problems; checked for completion only Kidbiz 1 time a week – goal is 75% first time; counts for their reading; starts in October Please check your child’s assignment book and folder daily -If they aren’t understanding something, please me to let me know -Students earn a Wrenn Buck for completing homework - Please send a note if you have a busy evening
