8 What is Dating Violence?
“Teen dating abuse is a pattern of physically, sexually, verbally, and/or emotionally abusive or controlling behavior in a dating relationship. It can involve digital communications and technologies or real world communications and physical interactions.” (From Break the Cycle Curriculum High School) Verbal Physical Sexual Digital Sexting

Who are people in your life that make you feel good about being yourself and why? What are the characteristics or qualities you look for in a friend? Does it matter if the friend is a guy or girl? Should you look for the same qualities in a boyfriend or girlfriend as in a friend? How should you treat a boyfriend or girlfriend? How do you want to be treated by a girlfriend or boyfriend? Can you choose how you want to be treated in a dating relationship?
