Manufacturing Plant Environment, Health and Safety Manager, Luxembourg m/f The Opportunity Reporting to the Site Manufacturing Director and as a member of the manufacturing plant leadership team, you perform a leadership and managerial role with respect to the Environmental, Health and Safety performance for the plant, with a specific focus on driving improvement to safety mindset and performance. Responsibilities: Lead and drive Safety performance, mindset and culture improvement for responsible plant. Define and implement strategies to identify, analyze and mitigate EHS related risks within the responsible plant. Lead the plant-wide Environmental, Health and Safety operational improvement and awareness aligned with the Luxembourg complex and the regional EHS Strategy and collaborate with relevant/competent authorities related with environmental, safety concerns. Manage the plant EHS systems to ensure full compliance to country legal and Goodyear internal requirements. Manage the plant EHS annual operating plan process, and respective monthly reporting Coordinate the plant EHS related capital investment needs and project execution Support a culture of sharing and implementation of EHS best practices across all EMEA facilities Lead our training center to support and drive regional and local EHS initiatives and campaigns in order to promote our safety awareness culture Lead Internal and external audit to ensure/maintain EHS compliance To join our team you will need: Education: Bachelor or master degree in a science or engineering subject, or education in Environmental or Safety related field. Certifications in Environmental, Health and/or Safety ideal Experience: A minimum 7-10 years experience in role responsible for driving environmental, health, and/or safety performance in a single or multiple site manufacturing environment. Languages: Fluency in French & English Skills Ability to effectively communicate with, manage and influence others not directly reporting to incumbent. Effective communication of vision, mission, objectives and strategies. Flexible and able to work extended hours and travel as required.
