I would like to share with you next year’s teaching model. Nursery – Mrs Cottingham, Mrs Bourke & Miss Gilmore Reception – Mrs Parsons, Miss Ledwidge & Miss Gutteridge Year 1 – Miss Riley & Mrs Naysmith Year 2 – Mrs Spencer & Mrs Parsons Year 3 – Mrs Wainwright & Miss Coles Year 4 – Miss Milner & Miss Williams Year 5 – Mr Johnson & Mrs Cook Year 6 – Mrs Parham, Mrs Rowland, Miss Pickthorne & Mrs Harris This week we received our end of KS2 results, which we were extremely pleased with. Once again early indicators show that we have achieved above national results and we are pleased to report they are even higher than last year’s. Once these indicative results have been finalised I will be able to share the exact facts and figures with you. A huge congratulations to all the year 6 children, who have truly worked their socks off this year, and I can safely say their secondary schools are very lucky to be teaching them in September. I would also like to thank the entire staff team for the huge part they have played in the children’s success. Medication; Please collect medication from the school office if your child no longer needs it in school. Year 6 parents needs to collect their child’s medication from the school office on the last day of term. Thank you Parent Governor: There will be a parent governor vacancy in July. If any parent is interested in this voluntary role, please see Miss Pickthorne to find out more about being a governor. After School Club: Please be aware that there will be no after school club on the last day of term, Friday 21st July.

Diary dates: Wednesday 12th July - KS1 Sports Day am, Reception and half of Year am to 10.20am Wednesday 12th July – KS1 Sports Day am, half of Year 1 and Year 2 – 10.50am to 11.55am Wednesday 12th July – KS2 Sports Day, 1.45pm Tuesday 18th July – Year 6 performance “Hoodwinked”, 9.15am Wednesday 19th July – Reserve Sports Day in case of rain on 12th July Wednesday 19th July – Thursday 20th July – Year 6 camp out at Rough Close Thursday 20th July – Nursery rearranged Sports Day, – 11.30am Friday 21st July – Last day of term Tuesday 5th September – First day of Autumn term for pupils Parents welcome at our Sports Days; Parents and carers are welcome to come along to give their children support next week. Please see the listing above for the times for different year groups. Remember to apply sun cream and for your child to wear a hat if it is sunny. Dol y Moch payments – Year 5: The balance for the Year 5 residential trip needs to be paid by 21St July, which is in two weeks time. Please send regular payments into school; it can be paid in instalments each week. Thank you. Letters this week: Reception and Year 6 – Class photograph New Faces: None this week Dinner money for Year 3 – Year 6: Please ensure that dinner money is paid in advance or on the day that a school dinner is required. All dinner money must be paid before the summer holidays. We are not allowed to have any dinner money outstanding after the end of the school year. Costs: Dinner money: £2.10 per day £10.50 per week School Uniform: School Coats - £16.00 Fleeces - £13.50 Sweatshirts – £8.00 / £9.50 (depending on size) Book bags – £4.00 Pump bags – £4.00 Breakfast Club: £ 2.00 Per day After School Club: £ 5.50 Per day 100% Attendance and Punctuality: Our Year 3 class achieved 97.1% attendance this week. Well done Year 3. There were 46 lates this week which affected 5 classes. Please ensure your children arrive at school on time. The bell goes at 8.55am. Children need to arrive at school between 8.45am and 8.55am, in order to undertake early morning work. Therefore we will continue to record poor punctuality. If children arrive after 8.55am, they will be recorded in the late book and their parents/carers will be asked to sign the late book and record the reason why.
