VAHS Health Summary Overall Menu (GMTS Manager)
Allows site manager/Clinical Application Coordinator (CAC) the ability to:
Create customized HSs and attach them to the EHR Reports tab
Create HS objects not available in document definitions

4. VAHS Overall Menu
There are two ways to add an HS to the Reports tab in EHR.
VAHS Menu. This menu was utilized prior to v 1.1
Most sites have continued to use the old and new menu structure with v 1.1
BEH>RPT>HSM menu
Newest menu structure deployed with v1.1

5. VAHS Menu Options Disable/Enable HS Component:
Selectively enable or disable HS components
Out-of-order messages may be entered and the disable action can be identified as either temporary or permanent
Create/Modify HS Components:
Create/modify HS components by duplicating and renaming of existing components, or by entering all appropriate fields for a component programmed on-site
Edit Ad Hoc HS Type:
Enter/edit default parameters (Time and Occurrence limits, hospital location displayed, International Classification of Disease [ICD] text displayed, provider narrative displayed, selection items and header names) for components of the Ad Hoc HS Type

Rebuild Ad Hoc HS Type:
Reloads the Ad Hoc HS Type to include all components, including any defined by the site, and, optionally, all temporarily disabled components, sequenced by alphabetically by name
CAC or site manager needs to rebuild the Ad Hoc HS each time a new component or a disabled component is enabled before the EHR users will be able to see it.
Resequence an HS Type:
Resequences the components of a given HS type from 5 in increments of % (i.e. 5, 10, 15, 20, 25……..)
Create/Modify HS Type:
Allows user to create/modify HS type

Test HS object or to export/import HS object
Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS) Reports Tab “HS Types List” Menu
List HS types on the reports tab
Arrange the order of these HSs on the list
View user preferences
CPRS HS Display/Edit Site Defaults
Display the site defaults
Select the HS types to list on the Reports tab
Edit the method of building the list (append/overwrite)
Edit allowable entities for the list (i.e. User, System, Division, etc.)
Resequence the allowable entities in the order they should appear on the list

8. Ad Hoc Report
Allows the user to create HSs using predefined HS types for a particular patient
Quick method of looking up information not normally found in the standard HS
Data is not saved – if the user wishes to review the same data on the next patient, he/she will have to start at the beginning of the Ad Hoc Report
If users look at certain HS type components on a routine basis, they may want to work with site manager/CAC to set up a new HS that would display on the Reports tab
