Cornelius Plantinga The webbing together of God, humans, and all creation in justice, fulfillment and delight is what the Hebrew prophets call shalom…. shalom means universal flourishing, wholeness, and delight – a rich state of affairs in which natural needs are satisfied and natural gifts fruitfully employed, a state of affairs that inspires joyful wonder as its Creator and Savior opens doors and welcomes the creatures in whom He delights. Shalom, in other words, is the way things ought to be.

What is the prophetic vision of shalom?

A world fully alive

Isaiah 65:17-18 See, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in what I will create, for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight and its people a joy. [CLICK] for emphasis on “create”

Pray for Babylon’s well-being. If things go well for Babylon, things will go well for you.”
