Lengths of travel Depending on the route taken, it is roughly 4 kilometres by kayak/canoe. Alternatively, one route will be six kilometres out, and four kilometres returning. It is across shallow open water. Dependent on weather, other difficulties may arise James Harris
12
Ability level This is a trip recommended for a confident paddler alone, or a fairly challenging group paddle for beginners. Primarily recommended for canoeists, this is also definitely doable as a kayaker. Secondary compartments are a bonus that would make this an easy trip for a kayaker. Tarp usage instead of a tent also makes this easier James Harris
