Phool Ashram front entrance The phool Ashram is located north of India along the Banks of Gangas river in the foothills of the Himalayan mountains, The Ashram is surrounded by stunning gardens and mountains. The name “Phoolchatti” means “Land of Flowers”. (ashram,2015)

Phool Chatti has designed the Yoga and Meditation Program to be a broad introduction to the yogic path and ashram life. It further recognizes the western guests' desire for an Indian ashram experience in a tranquil setting with healthy food and a relaxed atmosphere. Citations:

The Indian ashram has a daily program to make sure you have something to do all day. The Ashram is out of the city which give you the peace and quite to enjoy the full experience, but is close enough to the city just in case you needed to buy some materials. They teach a full spectrum of the yogic (spiritual) path and ashram life – not just asanas (postures). Our aim is to give students a comprehensive experience including yoga (asanas), chanting, pranayama (breathing), lecture, meditation, neti pot cleansing, etc. (see Yoga Program page for more details). We offer our students practical tools that they can continue to use in their lives after the program ends. Daily Program Wake-up bell 5:30 am. Meditation 6:00 to 6:30 am. Chanting 6:30 to 6:45 am. Neti Pot Cleansing 6:45 to 7:00 am. Pranayama 7:00 to 7:15 am. Hath Yoga 7:15 to 8:45 am Breakfast 9:00 am Meditative Walk 10:30 to 12:30 pm. Lunch 12:30 pm. Tea Time after lunch Lecture & Discussion 3:00 to 4:00 pm. Ashtanga Yoga 4:00 to 5:30 pm. Pranayama 5:30 to 5:45 pm. Temple Pooja Sunset Chanting & Bhajans after Pooja Dinner 7:30 pm. Many parts of the Himachal state have a distinctly Austrian look with conifer-clad mountains, chalet-like huts with overhanging balconies and serene blue valleys watered by snow-fed streams. Other breads like puri and bhatoora, which are deep fried in oil, are also common. Goat and lamb meats are favored ingredients of many northern Indian recipes.
