1
Have the conference speaker begin with a testimony of how sin created poverty and stole blessings, until Jesus brought freedom from sin and unleashed wellness and prosperity
2
From Poverty to Blessing
3
Genesis 1:27-28 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it
4
Blessed God made a good world filled with blessing. Every living being was blessed. God specially blessed human beings!
5
Blessed What does it mean to be blessed? It means that we have God’s favor. Where there is blessing there is no poverty or need neither do curses exist.
6
Blessed What happened to humanity? Sin entered through Adam and Eve. Since then our relationship with God has been broken. And through disobedience the curse of sin entered the world.
7
Genesis 3:17-19 “And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life.”
8
Genesis 3:17-19 “Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.”
9
Cursed Everything that is not blessed is cursed. What is curse? It’s a state of continual deterioration until it finally ends in destruction and death.
10
Cursed How are we cursed? By breaking our relationship with God through all manner of idolatry, disobedience and sin. Curse is an open door for demons and Satan to come in and oppress our lives.
11
Curses Idolatry False religions Veneration of Saints New Age
Cults and the occult Angel Worship False Spirituality Disbelief
12
Curses Witchcraft Sorcery Card Reading, Coffee Reading or Palm
Spiritism Mediums Spells Occult practices Narco-idols
13
Curses The consequences are generational: the curse affects children and grandchildren (cycles of family sickness, abuse, poverty, etc.).
14
Curses Under the curse all that we do and speak is stained with evil and sin. Prosperity comes in and disappears in our hands.
15
Blessed Anew Humanity was cursed by sin but God had in place a plan since before time began to remove all curse and to give us eternal blessings
16
Blessed Anew “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: (Ephesians 1:3-4).”
17
Blessed Anew God began anew his project to bless all of humanity with Abraham and his family. That is how the curse began to be removed.
18
Blessed Anew God promised to bless Abraham: And by promising to bless one man and the nation that would come from him, God promised to bless all the families of the world in Abraham.
19
Blessed Anew From Abraham came the nation of Israel that was blessed by God to share God’s blessing to all humanity.
20
Genesis 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
21
Jesus: Our Blessing Israel’s mission to bless all nations was perfectly fulfilled by Jesus: “That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith (Galatians 3:14).”
22
2 Corinthians 8:9 “For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.”
23
From Curse to Blessing We were cursed with poverty and destructive behaviors that repeated themselves in each generation of our families. Today, Jesus is our blessing: In Him there is no longer poverty and those destructive chains in our families can be broken.
24
From Curse to Blessing Every curse is broken in the name of Jesus!
Now we are blessed in Jesus Christ!
25
Prayer Lift up your hands in prayer, renounce in a loud voice to any covenant that you or your parents or your grandparents made with idols or with the enemy. Make a covenant with Jesus: Declare that He is your only God, Lord and Master.
26
Prayer In the Name of Jesus ask for the curse of sin to be removed and that God’s blessings would be unleashed upon you and your family.
