Reading and Writing:
-Have a conversation with your child about a book they have listened to in class or are currently reading. Ask them to summarize the key ideas in the text. (who?/what?/where?/when?/why?/how?)
-Ask your child to share their rough draft of their memoir with you on google docs.
Math:
-Study multiplication and division facts.
-Have your child practice double digit decimal multiplication. Ask them to explain the problem solving process and how they move the decimal. ($3.45 x 23)
Social Studies:
-Engage in a dialogue with your child using these questions, “Are taxes important? Do you think taxation without representation is fair?”
-Ask your child to explain what spin doctoring is and why it caused and uproar in the colonies.
