2 Heat magazine Heat is a British entertainment magazine published by German company Bauer Media Group. As of 2004 it is one of the biggest selling magazines in the UK, with a regular circulation over half a million. Its mix of celebrity news, gossip, beauty advice and fashion is primarily aimed at women, although not as directly as in other women's magazines. It also features movie and music reviews, TV listings and major celebrity interviews. Heat was launched in February As a general interest entertainment magazine, at a cost of more than £4m. However, unlike other, Bauer magazine launches before and after, it was not an immediate success, with a circulation below 100,000. A series of revamps quickly repositioned the magazine as a less serious, more gossip-oriented magazine aimed at women, and circulation quickly grew.

3 Heat is a weekly gossip magazine published by Bauer, one of the oligopoly of magazine publishers with a circulation of just over half a million. The stories and language found on the cover of this genre aims to relate to the lives of the readers. The language used relates to audience appeal because the taglines and headers are constructed surrounding the kind of issues that women would be concerned about like relationships.

5 Contents heat magazine has spawned a generation of celebrity, lifestyle and gossip fanatics and offers the best in entertainment and celebrity news every week. Famous for its unique editorial style, heatworld.com will push these boundaries even further. The magazine is for women mainly this is due to all the content that’s in it. It wouldn’t appeal to men although there are some information which men would want to look at such as football results or what time a TV series is coming on. This magazine doesn’t have a contents page which means all the information is spread out and we have to look for it ourselves although each topic is together such as there will be sections on make up or a section on reality shows.

Using a big picture Of the two people That the article is about Draws the reader and appeals to Frankie's fans This is trying to Spread gossip Which people Secretly love to read About. Writing that in those Colours makes it stand out but Also more believable. This is creating a scandal And criticising a very well known person Which attracts fans and readers. The article uses Small fonts so they can add More information

8 Advertisement There was a variety of advertisement in the magazine such as clothes that celebrities wear, hair and beauty products because the target reader ship are young adult women. Men could also read the magazine if they found it lying around. Also there's information on how to keep a models body which relates to the article because most women have an very slim and ‘perfect’ body Also there's TV shoes advertisement which would attract more readers if they watch it such as big brother. The magazine have advertisement pages after a few articles which means the readers are very less likely to miss an advertisement.
