3. The company
the name "Kia" derives from the Sino-Korean words ki ("to come out") and a (which stands for Asia), it is "rising out of Asia“.
Kia was founded in 1944,Kia is Korea's oldest manufacturer of motor vehicles.
Over 1.5 million vehicles a year are produced in 13 manufacture which are then sold through a network of dealers covering 172 countries.
Kia today has over 42,000 employees worldwide and annual revenues of over US$14.6 billion.

The history of Al Jabr Group dates back to when the sons of Sheikh Hamed Mohammad Al Jabr began their journey into the world of commerce with the establishment of a small company trading in foodstuffs. The Group currently has the following business activities: Al Jabr Automobiles Sales and Services; Al Jabr Laundry and Dry Cleaning; Al Jabr Beverages; Al Jabr Electronics; Al Jabr Air Conditioning; Al Jabr Batteries; Al Jabr Garments; Al Jabr Insurance; and the Gulf Carton Factory.
