The Bishop DuBourg Athletic Association (DBAA) exists to
promote and provide financial and booster support to enhance the Bishop DuBourg High School athletic program. The DBAA will promote the athletic programs, increase stakeholder interest, recognize the achievements of teams and students and to assist the Athletic Department, staff and Administration. MISSION STATEMENT Fear The Cavalier

Enforce that athletics are fun, rewarding, and a memorable part of the high school experience.
Promote pride, respect, spirit, an unity among DB students, staff, coaches, directors, families and stake holders. Promote high standard of ethics, sportsmanship and personal conduct by encouraging our stake holders to commit to high standards Maintain a comprehensive association which seeks the highest development of all participants, and which respects the individual dignity of every student. Membership Shall be open to all friends of Bishop DuBourg High School Annual dues shall be based on the following schedule – Red & White Cavalier Membership - $25 Voting Member DBAA T-Shirt ($10 value) Silver Cavalier Membership - $100 2 All-Sport Season Ticket ($75 value) DBAA Nike Polo Shirt ($50 value) Gold Cavalier Membership - $200 2 All-Sport Season Tickets ($50 value) 2 tickets to all DBAA events (up to $150 value) Platinum Cavalier Membership – $500 2 Gala Auction tickets ($150) Golf Foursome at the DB Golf Tournament ($500) MEMBERSHIP Fear The Cavalier

ELECTED OFFICERS Fear The Cavalier
The elected officers of the Bishop DuBourg Athletic Association shall be a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer & Social Media Coordinator President – shall preside at all meetings of the association and of the Executive Committee and shall have general supervision of the affairs of the organization. Vice president – coordinates general activities of the association and support committee as necessary. Assume the duties of the president during an absence. Secretary - keep records of the meetings of the association and Executive Committee and establish and maintain a membership roster with addresses and numbers. Treasurer – shall be the custodian of the clubs funds and shall keep an accurate record of the organization’s receipts and disbursements. The treasurer will submit a report at each meeting of the organization. Social Media Coordinator – shall create and maintain all association social media platforms. Lead facilitator for DBAA’s social media presence. ELECTED OFFICERS Fear The Cavalier

TEAM REPS Fear The Cavalier
In order to support all of the athletics at DB, each sports program, will have two appointed representatives. These representatives, when called on, will be expected to report information about their program at the DBAA meetings. This representative will be expected to encourage other parents to participate in the Bishop DuBourg Athletic Association and to keep them aware of DBAA activities. This representative will be nominated by the head coach, DBAA President and Athletic Director. Coach & Team Rep will work with boosters to develop their programs and increase pride and identify needs of the program. TEAM REPS Fear The Cavalier

FUNDRAISING Fear The Cavalier
All programs will function under the auspices of Bishop DuBourg. Outside fundraising or soliciting is permitted with written permission from the President. The primary means of fundraising for the DBAA will be… membership donations special events sports trivia night cosmic bingo final four party corporate sponsorships programs banners DuBourg Sports Network concession stand “specialty items” ex: Chick-fil-A, Pizza, etc. Grade school events basketball, volleyball, soccer tournaments summer leagues FUNDRAISING Fear The Cavalier

Necessities vs. Luxuries
Bishop DuBourg funds the all in-season expenses for our programs. - transportation - senior/parent/community nights - tournament costs - sports-specific perishables - Incidentals - stipends The booster club will raise funds which will further the mission of the athletic department and the individual programs. Wish List – Each program will have wish list items. Money raised by each individual program will benefit that specific program. BUDGET Fear The Cavalier
