Essential Skills 1st Touch \ Receive \ Trap – On Both sides of the Body while stationary and on the move. Passing Skills (Push, Slap, Hit)– On Both sides of the Body while stationary and on the move. Carry \ Dribbling \ Elimination skills - On Both sides of the Body while at speed. Tackle \ Steal \ Shave - On Both sides of the Body while stationary and on the move. Game Awareness – an understanding of how to work a 2v1 \ 3v2 situation. Aware of teammates, opposition and space on the field.

Planning a Season Time Skill Focus Fitness Focus Pre Season Essential Skills Aerobic Week 1 -7 Week Team Structures Interval Week 15 – 21 Game Situations \ Set plays. Speed and Agility Monitor Athletes throughout the season. Especially Athletes who are involved in additional Hockey squads.
