Essential Programs & Services (EPS) Funding Formula
100% EPS Over/Under – Essential Programs and Services is designed to insure that all schools have the programs and resources that are essential for all students to have an equitable opportunity to achieve Maine's Learning Results. Since the implementation of the EPS formula SAD #46 has been below 100% EPS 10 of 12 years. Proposed Budget is $217, below 100% EPS.

SAD #46 Comparisons vs. Other Schools
Dexter Regional High School Tuition based on operating expense divided by secondary attending enrollment increased by 2.34% or the State Average of $10,131, whichever is less – DRHS Tuition $7, – Lowest in Maine. Ridge View Community School Tuition based on operating expense divided by K-8 attending enrollment. State Average of $8, RVCS Tuition $6, – 175 of 189 K-8 Units in Maine.
