Cryomdoule Test Stand

Purpose of H.T After cavities string assembled in clean room with magnet and BPM, cavities string would be inserted into a cryostat along guiding trace,and mount power coupler, frequency tuner, HOM damper, all kinds of sensor and so on into the cryostat module. To be ensure all of above process is correct and performance still satisfy the design requirements, H.T should be done before final tunnel installation. It includes to measure the curve of Q0 vs gradient Eacc, coupler power level, tuning range, tuning backlash, characteristics of HOM and so on.

Includes Two radiation shielding room with safety interlock.
Multi usage cryostat which can accommodated multi type cavities, such as QWR, HWR, spoke, elliptical cavities. Cryogenic system which can be operated at 2K or 4K with 2.5kW capacities at 4K. Power Supplies incl MHz,325MHz,500MHz,650MHz and 1.3GHz. LLRF system for H.T. X-ray detector. Temperature measuring resistor. Residual magnetic field measuring device and demagnetizing tools.

Double Parallel Radiation Shielded Room
Outside block size is 20m*15m*5m(L*W*H). Incl. two independent test stand room, during the period of one module be tested, the other can to do preparing tasks. Each stand room have 12 rectangular and 12 round hole for power waveguide inlet. A 3D bird view

Structure of the Radiation Shielded Room
Surrounding wall is made by the high density concrete with one meter thickness. On the roof, each test stand room have 12 rectangular and 12 round hole for power WG inlet, neighboring hole is 1.5m separated. The main gate size is 2.3m*0.4m*3m(L*W*H).

For Shielding Door: It is made by iron. Size is
2.57m*0.4m*3.14m(L*W*H). Total Weight is 24.1ton, It supported by double parallel guide track. Equipped 10 trolley wheel (2 line, each line 5 row) to distributed support the total weight. The track section at cross location can be detached and remounted by hand. A 6m motor driven linear guide is adopted to moving the door.

Question: Inside of test stand room, a movable crane is necessary or not? It’s safety enough to decay to the hazed radiation x-ray for one meter concrete wall or 0.4m iron door? Do you have any idea to simplize the structure of crossover of two track guide line.

Cryostat for H.T Cryostat is used to mount single cell cavity which will be test in horizontal, It can accommodated multi type cavities so as HWR, Spoke and common elliptical cavity with LHe vessel, assembled with tuner, coupler and HOM damper, cryogenic system. Temperature can be control during cooling down, quick temperature rise up during warming up, heat loss measurement. Pressure protection set three gradation level, overpressure should to be released by electric valve, spring valve and final rupture disk sequentially, set action point to 2 bar for rupture disk. Working condition: Within cryomodule and outside of cryomodule Measuring the frequency range of mechanical vibration : Hz The sampling rate is greater than 1k/s; Monitor real-time display parameters: waveform, spectrum, data table, bar chart, etc The input signal type and sampling frequency of each channel can be set Signal time domain analysis: single (multi -) trace time domain analysis, analysis points optional Frequency domain analysis: frequency domain FFT analysis, with amplitude spectrum, effective value spectrum, power spectrum, power spectrum density four ways, analysis points can be selected; The vibration frequency, amplitude and natural frequency of the structure can be analyzed.
