Employee Dashboard From the blue Toolbar select Home | Employee Dashboard

Employee Dashboard My Schedule
Provides staff with the most current and accurate schedule for the current month Blue bullet indicates a Pending Request Green bullet indicates an Approved Request Red bullet indicates a Denied Request

Employee Dashboard My Accruals
Accrual information reflects balances for Benefit Time categories Accrual information is received from the HRIS Interface and includes an As Of date indicating the effective date for the accrual balance Staff can utilize the Accrual information to identify their balances prior to entering requests for benefit time Note – Clairvia does not project accrual information; accrual is an AS OF date in Clairvia.

Employee Dashboard Competency Expirations
Reminds users of competencies such as Licenses, PALS, BLS, etc. that have expired or will be expiring soon providing a reminder to sign up for a class or submit paperwork that requirements have been met A Red bullet indicates a competency that has already expired A Yellow bullet indicates a competency that has not yet expired, but will expire soon. 2/2/17 – Competencies are not yet turned on. We are waiting for CED to transition from Pathlore to Saba before turning on this feature. Competency information is used in various modules and provides the ability for manager/scheduler to ensure the right resource is assigned to a task.

Employee Dashboard My Opportunities
Provides a list of Consider Me Opportunities that are in a pending status awaiting the manager or scheduler’s decision to award the opportunity Provides the ability to track the status and inquire on the status if necessary User guide on how to sign up for opportunities can be found here:

Employee Dashboard My Shift Swaps Pending Approval
Provides list of accepted Shift Swaps (trades) that require manager approval. When the manager approves the Shift Swap, the schedule will be changed and the entry will be removed from the list Provides the ability to track the status and inquire on the status if necessary User guide on how to make a shift swap can be found here:

Employee Dashboard Message Center
Admin Note displays information from your Manager or scheduler such as unit schedule information or upcoming events Provides messages from team members requesting Shift Swaps or other communication

Schedule | My Requests From the Schedule menu, select My Requests. The page opens in Calendar view. Note – if you are looking at a colorful schedule, this is not the final schedule; these are your requests. The final schedule should not be viewed in the My Request view. It should be viewed in the My Schedule view. The final schedule is in gray.

Schedule | My Requests 1 2 3 The My Requests screen can be displayed in a Weekly or Calendar view (seen in image). The Dates displayed can be altered using the date selection tools. Use the Show menu to select the information the My Requests page displays. Show Only Requests – removes schedule data and shows only requests. Show Only My Schedule – removes other employees and shows only your schedule and requests.

Submitting a Request From the Schedule menu, select My Requests. The page opens in Calendar view. Navigate to the desired date range using the date selector tools. Click a date cell to select it. The cell turns yellow and your selected date appears in the Select Dates pane with the code (N) for New. In the Select Tasks pane, expand the appropriate assignment and select a task. That task background turns blue. Tasks in gray are no longer available for request. Click Select. The request moves to the Submit Requests box with the code (N) for New. (Optional) Enter a note in the Note to Scheduler box in the Submit Requests pane. Click Save. User guide on submitting requests can be found here:

Allows staff to view their own and unit schedule for their home unit and other units they are qualified to work Select the date range using hyperlink or navigation arrows Employee’s schedule will show in blue font User guide on how to view and print schedule can be found here:

Shift Swaps The Shift Swap feature can be used to trade a shift with a coworker if an employee needs to change their schedule Shift Swaps can be done electronically, eliminating the need for a paper trail Right click the shift you want to trade and choose Request Shift Swap from the context menu. This opens the Shift Swap Window. User guide on making shift swaps can be found here:

Shift Swaps continued Only employees shown with pale blue backgrounds are eligible to swap shifts. Click one or more eligible employees. The blue background turns gray to show your selections Click Swap Selected Shifts. This sends swap invitations to the selected colleagues and closes the Shift Swap Window

Shift Opportunities Shift Opportunities are open needs on the schedule that are posted to staff qualified to work the shift Staff can view available Opportunities and request to fill the need To view Opportunities, the Show Opportunities check box must be checked Click a link in the Opportunities pane or the schedule grid to open the Shift Opportunity dialog Opportunities pane (left), Schedule Grid (right) User guide on signing up for opportunities can be found here:

Schedule – Weekly Schedule
Shift Opportunities Review the information in the View/Select Opportunity window. Click one of the buttons at the bottom of the window Close closes the window without taking action Schedule Me or Consider Me shows the type of Opportunity and applies the action accordingly Remove From List removes this Opportunity form the employee’s list so it will not be displayed when reviewing opportunities again Schedule me automatically schedules you. Consider me means that manager/scheduler will consider you for the opportunity.

Shift Alert Preferences
Address(es) and Phone Number(s) in Employee Info window will display here It is encouraged that staff sign-up for Shift Alerts. Please make sure your manager/scheduler has your up-to-date contact information.
