What happened to TV news?

Objective Journalism The standard of reporting in the old days was objective journalism, a style of news reporting that focuses on facts rather than opinion, and presents all sides of controversial issues.

Then along came cable When cable became available, people not interested in the news tuned to entertainment programs. News junkies, meanwhile, could watch the news on CNN and other cable networks.
