Matt. 7:21 “does the will of my Father in heaven.” Lk. 6:46 “But why do you call Me 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do the things which I say?” 1. Many verses tell us that we are to do something in regard to the Bible ! a. Jas. 1:22 “Be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” Doers = a performer b. Matt. 7:21 “Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.” c. Lk. 6:46 “But why do you call Me 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do the things which I say?”

Verb - some action Jn. 13:17 “If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.” 1. Do is a verb - that means there is to be some action - work 2. God will hold us responsible for what we CAN DO.... not what we cannot do. a. If we do our part as a Christian we will be happy b. The rich man did little for anyone with the much God had given him.

He gave much to man – (secular writing) Job had a door on all 4 sides of his house that were open to the poor to come and get food 4. He was a righteous man for he did much with much !
