2008 Nov - funding released Dec / Jan – hired neuropsychologist 2009 Jan – commenced translations of WISC-IV, D-KEFS, CANTAB Standardised Afrikaans administration manual Feb / Mar – Neuropsychologist training on neuroassessment battery March – Neuropsychologist training in San Diego Aim for reliability March / April – pilot testing in Afrikaans April – commence data collection, hire second tester

Face and Brain Imaging Project
2009 Jan – hire research assistant Feb – Dr Narr (UCLA) to visit Goals – review protocols Test phantom data Collect pilot data March – pilot in tandem with neurobehavioral study Standardised Afrikaans fMRI test administration April – commence data collection

Some logistics at SA site
Large pool of well described FASD and control children (FASER-SA Epi Phase 2, 3 and 4: >200 FASD and controls aged 7 – 18 yrs) Subjects live in Wellington (75km from CT) Neurobehavioral assessments will take place in Wellington Imaging studies will take place at Stellenbosch University CUBBI Centre (50 km from Wellington) All subjects require transport 6
