8 Into the classroom Daniele explains that we are about to take a trip into the classroom to examine our practices. Part one focused on know and understand, so let’s move a step further to apply. We appreciate the feedback you gave after the last webinar and your comments on wanting practical ideas to implement in the classroom. Today we are going to discuss and share ideas for creating equitable classrooms. We want to emphasize that no matter the make up on style of your classroom - creating an equitable environment is critical to learning and is not done with a single strategy or idea. It is a process that involved reflection and growth for you and your students. Embrace the know and understand we discussed in part one - you may be at a different place than your friend or colleague and that is okay. Let’s get started!
