1. Wolf Pride Band
Mission – A co-curricular performing group that ALL band students at Grandview can aspire to create outstanding music, develop student leadership, and represent the school and community with great pride and enthusiasm.

2. Goals
Establish and maintain a culture of excellence in music making and Pride in membership of the group
Successful, superior level musical performances
Pride of Grandview HS
Continued participation of upperclassmen
Provide a vehicle for students to develop as leaders

3. Schedule ATTENDANCE IS CRITICAL TO SUCCESS!!!
Football games are held at Legacy Stadium next to Cherokee Trail HS- students are transported back and forth by school bus from Grandview

4. COMMITTMENT Wolf Pride Band Students will:
Make a strong commitment to the success and superior performance standard of the Wolf Pride Band
Attend all rehearsals and performances
Maintain their grades in accordance with eligibility rules

5. Percussion Students will audition for Drum Line
Students will be placed on a drum for the entire season
Students will work with a percussion instructor throughout the fall season
Students will have extra practice in the summer to set up success

6. Uniforms
Uniform Coordinator: We need a volunteer!!

Mr. Mike Nevin – percussion
Wind player instructors for camp

8. Costs Band Participation Fee - $300
Includes band camp
State Fair Overnight Trip – transportation, dinner Friday, lodging, breakfast
Uniform cleaning and maintenance
Transportation costs to parades
Music and folders
Marching school instruments and maintenance
Band t-shirt
Student attendance at the band banquet
Shoes - $30 – if needed, they are the same this year

9. Lettering Requirements
Students will continue to earn points toward their letter in band with participation in Wolf Pride Band
Unexcused absences will result in a reduction of lettering points

10. Needs Parent Volunteers – Coordinator: Heather Zipp Help with parades

11. Fundraising Patrons run all fundraising opportunities
Students may use their performing arts account for Wolf Pride costs
