Reign on David’s throne forever
Prophecy: 1 Chronicles 17:12-13 12 "He shall build for Me a house, and I will establish his throne forever. 13 " I will be his father and he shall be My son; and I will not take My lovingkindness away from him, as I took it from him who was before you. Fulfillment: Luke 1:32-33 32 "He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David; 33 and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will have no end."

“I will be His Father, He will be my son”
Prophecy: 1 Chronicles 17:13 13 " I will be his father and he shall be My son; and I will not take My lovingkindness away from him, as I took it from him who was before you. Fulfillment: Hebrews 1:5 5 For to which of the angels did He ever say, "YOU ARE MY SON, TODAY I HAVE BEGOTTEN YOU"?

The resurrection predicted

The enmity of kings Prophecy: Psalm 2:1-3
2:1 Why are the nations in an uproar And the peoples devising a vain thing? 2 The kings of the earth take their stand And the rulers take counsel together Against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying, 3 "Let us tear their fetters apart And cast away their cords from us!" Fulfillment: Acts 4:24-28 27 "For truly in this city there were gathered together against Your holy servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, along with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel, 28 to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose predestined to occur.

2 The kings of the earth take their stand And the rulers take counsel together Against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying, Fulfillment: John 1:41 41 He found first his own brother Simon and said to him, "We have found the Messiah" (which translated means Christ).

The Beloved Son Prophecy: Psalm 2:7
7 "I will surely tell of the decree of the LORD: He said to Me, 'You are My Son, Today I have begotten You. Fulfillment: Matt 3:16-17 16 After being baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove and lighting on Him, 17 and behold, a voice out of the heavens said, " This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased."

Rules the nations with a rod of iron
Prophecy: Psalm 2:8-9 8'Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance, And the very ends of the earth as Your possession. 9'You shall break them with a rod of iron, You shall shatter them like earthenware.'" Fulfillment: Revelation 12:5 5 And she gave birth to a son, a male child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron; and her child was caught up to God and to His throne.

Life comes through faith in Him
Prophecy: Psalm 2:12 12 Do homage to the Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way, For His wrath may soon be kindled. How blessed are all who take refuge in Him! Fulfillment: John 20:31 31 but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name.

From the mouth of infants
Prophecy: Psalm 8:2a 2 From the mouth of infants and nursing babes You have established strength Fulfillment: Matt 21:15-16 15 But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that He had done, and the children who were shouting in the temple, "Hosanna to the Son of David," they became indignant 16 and said to Him, "Do You hear what these children are saying?" And Jesus said to them, "Yes; have you never read, 'OUT OF THE MOUTH OF INFANTS AND NURSING BABIES YOU HAVE PREPARED PRAISE FOR YOURSELF'?"

Humiliation and exaltation
Prophecy: Psalm 8:5-6 5 Yet You have made him a little lower than God, And You crown him with glory and majesty! 6 You make him to rule over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, Fulfillment: Hebrews 2:5-9 5 For He did not subject to angels the world to come, concerning which we are speaking...For in subjecting all things to him, He left nothing that is not subject to him. But now we do not yet see all things subjected to him. 9 But we do see Him who was made for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone.

Judge the world in righteousness
Prophecy: Psalm 9:7-8 7 But the LORD abides forever; He has established His throne for judgment, 8 And He will judge the world in righteousness; He will execute judgment for the peoples with equity. Fulfillment: Acts 17:31 31 because He has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man whom He has appointed, having furnished proof to all men by raising Him from the dead."

Everlasting kingdom Prophecy: Psalm 18:2-3
2 The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. 3 I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised, And I am saved from my enemies. Fulfillment: Luke 1:69-71 69 And has raised up a horn of salvation for us In the house of David His servant — 70 As He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from of old — 71 Salvation FROM OUR ENEMIES, And FROM THE HAND OF ALL WHO HATE US;
